Surprise!

Only Kinnie in the Cisk box
We were invited for dinner at Mattias (En plats i solen) place today, me, Kalle, Frippe and Chelle. Mattias had bought a box of the local beer Cisk and told us to help ourselves. Guess if we were surprised when we opened the box and instead of beer there was only cans of the local soft drink Kinnie in it! I wonder how many other boxes that are wrong and how many Kinnie-boxes that have beer in them?!

It's possible to see all the way to Baħrija from Marfa Ridge
Marfa Ridge is a classic spot to go to when we have friends here. I really like the view from here. It’s possible to see all the way to Baħrija from here, if you look hard enough.

We drove north today and just outside Mellieha they had some kind of car racing competition. We stopped to take a look, but unfortunately the race just finished. I took some pictures of the view instead.

Today we had dinner at Hugo’s. It was me, Kalle and some people from work. After that we went to a bar and then most people went home. The rest of us (well, only me and one more) continued on to Plush. First time I’ve been there actually. It was fun to dance, I must admit!

Dingli cliffs was the next viewpoint on our sightseeing tour with Aida and Frippe. Just on the side of Dingli cliffs is Il-Fawwara, a place a like a lot. It’s peace and quiet there and amazing views over cliffs and the sea. This is a good spot to watch the sunset from.
Today I noticed something I haven’t seen on my previous visits to Il-Fawwara: the word NAZAE written in stones in a short piece of stone wall. I’ve googled it, but can not find any explanations.

Another thing I noticed for the first time today is that you can see the white tent protecting the megalithic temple Ħaġar Qim from here.

Blue Grotto
In the afternoon we took 2 of our collegues from Sweden (Aida and Frippe) for a sightseeing tour to the south side of the island. First we went to Blue Grotto and took some photos from the viewpoint just opposite the cave. Between Blue Grotto and Filfla island they are drilling for oil.

Grillkväll på balkongen

Igår kom ett par kollegor ner till Malta och efter jobbet idag fick jag en trevlig överraskning. Kalle, Frippe och Chelle åkte och handlade sen fixade de mat hos oss. Det var både kyckling, kött, korv och grönsaker som hamnade på grillen. I like!
