Moisture damage – again!
0The day before mamma and Lasse went home (September 23rd), I noticed that the wall in our study/guestroom was soaking wet. At that point the wall was still not discoloured but now it is clearly visible. The neighbour’s bathroom is on the other side and there is probably a damaged pipe or something causing the problem. They promised to fix the problem immediately when they were notified, but it don’t think they have keept the promise…

A night out
0Today we had dinner at Hugo’s. It was me, Kalle and some people from work. After that we went to a bar and then most people went home. The rest of us (well, only me and one more) continued on to Plush. First time I’ve been there actually. It was fun to dance, I must admit!
Could this be the one?
0We’ve seen a few more flats and penthouses today and we finally found something that could work.
We want a “breathtaking, unobstructed view”, large terrace with evening sun, peace and quiet and it must be a good area for walking Gizmo.
So, this penthouse shell we saw today is situated in Baħrija, a small village far away from stress, people, noise. I felt very relaxed out here and the there is a large open space just outside the house where we can let Gizmo run free. The view are really nice and I would probably have my pentax ready at all times, to capture the beauty.
The penthouse has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (main + en-suite), combined kitchen/dining/living with a large terrace. From the terrace the view over Comino and Gozo is fantastic. There is also a small area that could be a good spot for a washing machine. On the back there is a smaller balcony/terrace with sun all day long.

Checking the view from Il-Fawwara, near Dingli cliffs
0Dingli cliffs was the next viewpoint on our sightseeing tour with Aida and Frippe. Just on the side of Dingli cliffs is Il-Fawwara, a place a like a lot. It’s peace and quiet there and amazing views over cliffs and the sea. This is a good spot to watch the sunset from.
Today I noticed something I haven’t seen on my previous visits to Il-Fawwara: the word NAZAE written in stones in a short piece of stone wall. I’ve googled it, but can not find any explanations.

Blue Grotto
In the afternoon we took 2 of our collegues from Sweden (Aida and Frippe) for a sightseeing tour to the south side of the island. First we went to Blue Grotto and took some photos from the viewpoint just opposite the cave. Between Blue Grotto and Filfla island they are drilling for oil.
