After 5 days of coughing and sneezing I finally feel better. I felt better already after two days and thought I could work on friday, but I didn’t wake up until 12.30 friday afternoon, so I guess I wasn’t ready for work after all.
This weekend Kalle made me play Guitar Hero on wii. I’ve tried it before but I didn’t like it at all. Probably because I’m the worst Guitar Hero player in the world. But now I’ve tried to play the bass guitar and it’s sooo much easier and I really enjoyed it! Bass is too easy and boooooring, some of you Guitar Hero players out there might say. But I’ll stick to playing bass for now anyway! We’ve borrowed a wii guitar from our Swedish friends (they are in Sweden during Christmas) so we could play together. That was fun!
Our handyman was here saturday to paint the wall in the study. We hope the wall is dry enough now. Time will tell.
The grasshopper I told you about last week, is still sitting in our lemon tree. Since he kind of moved in with us I’ve decided to call him Benjamin. I wonder how long Benjamin will stay with us?
The gas company have painted the gas cylinders green (they used to be yellow). I’ve read in the paper that the only reason is to give the impression that the gas is eco friendly.
Kalle cleaned the moldy wall a few weeks ago and we used the gas heater to dry the wall for a couple of days. The wall felt dry, but the mold came back. So Kalle cleaned the wall again this weekend and we will make another try to dry the wall with the electric heater.
Our landlord told me that the neighbours have fixed the leak, but they also still have mold on their side of the wall and that they think there is another leak somewhere.
…has been cleaned (by Kalle my hero) and now we have the gas heater in the study and hopefully the wall will dry up. It’s nice and warm to sit in by the computer in the study now. I like!
It’s been 2 months now and the mold in our study just keeps getting worse. When I took a closer look I could see that the wall is covered in white fluffy mold.
The moisture damage in our study is one month old now. Black mold has appeared and the surrounding wall is still soaking wet. We’ve cleaned the wall once, but the mold just keeps coming back. Our landlord says the neighbour has fixed the pipe, but I guess it will take some time before it dries up.
The day before mamma and Lasse went home (September 23rd), I noticed that the wall in our study/guestroom was soaking wet. At that point the wall was still not discoloured but now it is clearly visible. The neighbour’s bathroom is on the other side and there is probably a damaged pipe or something causing the problem. They promised to fix the problem immediately when they were notified, but it don’t think they have keept the promise…
